Nonfiction Picture Book Challenge: NCTE and the Orbis Pictus Award Winners

November 27, 2019 Alyson Beecher

Just a quick update from my recent trip to Baltimore and NCTE ‘19….

The Nonfiction Children’s Book Salon was organized by Carol Hinz (Millbrook Press), Melissa Manlove (Chronicle Books), and Shaina Olmanson (Lerner Books). It was the highlight of the weekend for the many nonfiction authors, teachers, and librarians.

Carol, Melissa, and Shaina did some book talking for upcoming 2020 titles.

Thank you to the Hyatt for accommodating our growing group and making a space for everyone.

What an amazing group of nonfiction children’s book authors.

Thank you Melissa Stewart for putting together a blog post with information from our presentation. You can find the post here.
